Washes Whiter Than - 1979 - Star Song
Petra went through a lot of changes for this album. They went from a hard rock sound in their first two albums to a lighter sound in this album. This album has some really great songs on it like, "Mary's Song", "Why Should the Father Bother" (their first Radio hit) and "Morning Star". Also you might like the guitar solo on "Magic Mirror" and "Taste and See". Bob Hartman, Petra's main song writer, is showing signs of better lyric-writing.
RECOMMEND TO: People who like 70's soft rock.
